In 2022 we were working with developers, brokers, and property owners to make land deals fairer with URVANA when we noticed two things:
- The homes that will be built on that land are becoming more and more out of reach for our generation.
- Developers are in trouble. They are not selling at the pace they need because of many global post-pandemic factors.
We realized this was the big opportunity for our generation to enter the real estate market at scale, but we had to act fast. If developers are not selling, they will be willing to try new methods and take risks. It was now or never.
No more relatives saying:
When I was your age I bought my apartment with pocket change.
Let’s not just own one property—let’s have properties: a piece of the corner restaurant, a beach apartment, and a slice of your boss’s house.
